RESTORED Mid Century Modern Elm Armchair by Ercol, fleur-de-lis

For sale is an exceptional piece of vintage Mid-Century Modern design: a loveseat and matching armchair, modeled after the classic Windsor chair. Featuring high steam-bent backs and arms made of solid elm, it was designed by Lucian Ercolani and manufactured in the 1960s at their High Wycombe factory. This iconic piece of furniture blends functionality and timeless elegance, showcasing the fleur-de-lis motif, which symbolizes tradition and style.

The armchair has been restored to like-new condition, and with its whimsical upholstered cushions, it would look equally nice by the fireplace in a city home or a rustic cottage. It will get new webbing shortly.

Approximate dimensions: Back Height: 32"x Width: 27" (just seating 21") x  Depth: 36" x Seat H 13".  It is very comfortable with deep low seating. The cushions are on the softer side. Please note: The back cushion fabric is similar to, but not the same as, the seat cushion fabric.
