We're Asta and Geddy, and we're passionate about finding and restoring exceptional mid-century modern furniture. What started as a love for timeless design has become our life's work—preserving the craftsmanship and beauty of a truly special era.

Every piece we offer is carefully chosen for its design and potential. We believe great mid-century furniture is an investment in quality and lasting style, not a compromise.

Here's what most people don't see: Our online store is just the tip of the iceberg. Behind every finished piece is an extensive process that involves real costs and countless hours of skilled work. We rent and maintain a dedicated workshop, invest in specialized tools, rent storage space for inventory, and keep a truck running for pickups and deliveries. The restoration process itself is meticulous: we pick up each piece of furniture, transport it to our workshop, carefully assess its condition, dismantle it completely, strip away old finishes, make any necessary repairs, reassemble and re-glue joints, then apply multiple coats of Danish oil by hand. Each item takes 1-2 weeks minimum—often longer if we need to fabricate new parts or source period-correct hardware. Beyond the restoration, we manage the online shop, handle customer service, coordinate deliveries, and carefully package items for shipping. It's the two of us, hands-on, through every single phase from discovery to delivery.

We each bring something different to the table. Asta has a Master's degree in Marketing and deep experience in home product development, making sure every piece meets high standards of design and value. Geddy is a skilled carpenter and restoration specialist who brings each item back to life, honoring the original techniques while ensuring it's built to last.

Without a traditional showroom, we can offer premium-quality pieces at better prices—though we focus on value over volume. Each restoration takes real time and care to get it right.
