RESTORED Danish MCM Teak Tambour Credenza by Svend Aage Larsen for Faarup

For sale, we have this sleek vintage Danish Mid Century Modern teak tambour door sideboard/ credenza/ buffet/ TV media console by Svend Aage Larsen for Faarup Furniture, Denmark, circa 1960s.

A gorgeous example of this iconic Danish design. Long and lean in glowing teak with elegantly tapered legs and lots of shelf and drawer space for storage. The wonderful tambour doors roll away out of sight when opened.

This piece is in excellent vintage condition with minor age-appropriate wear. We cleaned and polished it, and it looks like new.

L 80” x D 19” x H 31.25". (H includes 11" legs). 

There are 3 compartments behind 2 rolling teak doors. This exquisite and rare Mid Century Modern teak sideboard is made of gorgeous Burmese teak, by the renowned E Gomme / G-Plan factory and designed by V.B. Wilkins in 1966 and was brought from Europe by the original owner. This piece offers not only lots of storage but lots of visual delight that will last.

The sideboard has been stripped, sanded and refinished with Danish oil to almost like new condition with just a few minor blemishes on top.

There are 2 large compartments behind hinged teak doors (each has an adjustable shelf) and a middle bank of clean wooden drawers that slide easily.
