For sale, we have a rarely seen vintage Mid-Century Modern armchair designed by renowned Dutch designer Jan Kuypers for Imperial. Simple lines and high-quality construction in bold and vibrant solid African teak / afromosia. The straight lines of the frames are balanced by curved handles and back support.
The frame has been stripped, sanded, and refinished with Danish oil to brand-new condition.
The chair has also been reupholstered in stain-resistant mustard color fabric, just like the original.
Approximate dimensions: seat height 18.5”x back height 32.5”x width 26.75” (just seat 21.5") x depth 27”x handle height 22.5" -25.5".
Versatile design- use as a carver chair at the end of the dining table, move to the coffee table in the living room when required; it would also be a great desk chair in the home office and even in a bedroom.
