This gorgeous vintage Mid Century Modern sofa and lounge chair will be the last ones you will require - they are really made to last: refinished solid teak frame with sculptural low arm supports, spring base, thick firm foam, professionally reupholstered in luxurious thick highly durable gold brown mustard wool mohair fabric.
L 86" (84" just seating) x D 32” x SH 17.5” x BH 30”.
Armchair L 30.5" (28.5" seat) x D 32” x SH 17.5” x BH 30”.
Designed to be placed in the centre of an open concept home, the back of this sofa is as beautiful as the front.
The sofa and lounge chair cushions are firm. Selling as a set only. Brought from the USA in the 1960's.
The colour of wool mohair is gold brown mustard, and it changes depending on lighting. There is no green as it might appear in some photos.
Mohair upholstery is a very plush, durable and resilient velvet type upholstery fabric that is shorn from Angora goats. It can be dyed in rich and beautiful colors and is resistant to moisture wicking, stretching and creasing and is inherently flame resistant. It is also expensive, with prices from $200 to $600 per yard and more.
