This gorgeous and exceptional Mid Century Modern teak 4 – seater  by  Gerhard Berg for Westnofa, Norway, sofa is one of the most beautiful we have seen.  Organically shaped solid wood frame curves softly to envelop the body perfectly and iconic teak paws are the main features of the set. 

The sofa has been dismantled to the bare wood frame, springs were changed to the new ones, and the sofa has been rebuilt again using high quality foam and gorgeous wool mohair; its teak parts have been stripped, sanded and refinished with Danish oil.

Mohair upholstery is a very plush, durable and resilient velvet type upholstery fabric that is shorn from Angora goats. It can be dyed in rich and beautiful colors and is resistant to moisture wicking, stretching and creasing and is inherently flame resistant. It is also expensive, with prices from $200 to $600 per yard and more.
