For sale, we have an exceptional Danish Mid Century Modern teak 4-seater sofa. The organically shaped solid wood frame curves softly to envelop the body perfectly with the seating that slopes backward, supported by the slender back legs and iconic teak ends of the armrests.

The sofa has been dismantled to the bare wood frame, the springs were changed to the new ones, and the sofa has been expertly rebuilt again using high-quality foam and gorgeous dark fuchsia wool mohair; its teak parts have been stripped, sanded, and refinished with Danish oil.

Mohair upholstery is a very plush, durable and resilient velvet type upholstery fabric that is shorn from Angora goats. It can be dyed in rich and beautiful colors and is resistant to moisture wicking, stretching and creasing and is inherently flame resistant. It is also expensive, with prices from $200 to $600 per yard and more.
