REFINISHED REUPHOLSTERED in wool mohair Danish MCM Teak Sofa & Lounge Chair, PERFECT

This gorgeous and exceptional Danish Mid Century Modern teak 3 – seater  wing-back sofa and matching lounge armchair are one of the most beautiful we have seen (it looks much nicer in person).  Organically shaped solid wood frames that curve softly to envelop the body perfectly and iconic teak paws are the main features of the set. It feels like you would be sitting on the cloud.

Both sofa and chair have been dismantled to the bare wood frame, springs were changed to the new ones, and they been rebuilt again using high quality foam and gorgeous green wool mohair; its teak parts have been stripped, sanded and refinished with Danish oil.

Mohair upholstery is a very plush, durable and resilient velvet type upholstery fabric that is shorn from Angora goats. It can be dyed in rich and beautiful colors and is resistant to moisture wicking, stretching and creasing and is inherently flame resistant. It is also expensive, with prices from $200 to $600 per yard and more.The set required 12 yards.
