For sale, we have a rare collector set- Pasadena dining suite, a space age dining set by a well-known Canadian designer Russell Spanner - Canadian Mid Century Modern classic. The Pasadena line featured ivory cork tops and ebony wood designs.
We are currently working on the set, and just stripped the aged cork tops on the table and buffets, and decided to offer our customers a choice to customize the set to best suit their homes. One option is as per the original design - ivory cork tops, black bodies, white vinyl seats. The second option is natural cork tops, black bodies, and sand colored vinyl or fabric seats.
Table L 6 ft x W 34" x H 29"
Chairs W 17.5" x D 21.5" x SH 18" x BH 32". The armchair is wider at W 19.5", and the hand supports are at H 25.5".
Sideboard 5 ft x D 19.5" x H 31.25"(H includes 12.5" legs)
Server 40" x 19.5" x H 33.5" (H includes 8" legs), the topper with glass doors is 36" x D 16" x H 16"
Russell Spanner's futuristic designs combined the sharp geometry of splayed and tapered legs and beveled wood edges with the organic look of natural surfaces, and the curved plywood chair backs recall the modernity of airplane wings.
