For sale is a rare vintage Mid-Century Modern teak sofa convertible into a single bed made by Paramount Furniture in Montreal in the 1960s. The design is very similar to the famous Hans J. Wegner daybed/couch, produced by Getama.
It is a high-quality sofa and very comfortable. You can easily transform it into a bed for your overnight guest or lay down for a power nap.
The sofa has been dismantled and stripped down to bare wood, fixed where required, and refinished with Danish oil to great like new condition (minimal blemishes).
The new cushions were made using beautiful textured taupe color (gray-brown) upholstery fabric.
L 76"x D 31"x Seat H 18"x BH 30" (from the ground) / 13" (from the seat). When converted to the bed, the sleeping area is 31" x 76".
Great for condos and smaller modern spaces where there is no space for the guest room.
