We have refinished walnut wooden parts of the sofa, and they are like new again. New cushions have been professionally made using firm high quality cushions in stain-resistant wool look AIS Alta Frock upholstery fabric in dark blue Mackinaw color (please note that photos show the color lighter than it is - see a second photo for the true color)
