Low Mid-Century Modern Walnut and Rosewood Credenza, Media TV Console or Buffet by Thomasville

Thomasville produced only a small volume of exceptionally well-designed mid-century furniture, of which this rare and handsome credenza is a shining example. Rosewood accents arranged in an eye-catching pattern adorn four walnut doors which open to reveal two spacious dovetailed drawers and cabinet storage with a fixed shelf.

The cabinet is constructed of solid poplar clad in select walnut veneers and has been meticulously stripped, sanded and refinished with Danish oil to almost perfect condition.

L 69.25" x D 19" x H 26" (H includes 8" legs)

Cupboard space is divided by a fixed shelf in H 8" and H 7.5"

Thomasville furniture production of this era rival the best produced by any company, including Baker and Widdicomb. Retains the maker mark. Circa 1959.
