REFINISHED Italian Mid Century Modern Lounge Chair w Wool Mohair Cushions

For sale is an exceptional vintage Mid-Century Modern lounge armchair in the style of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen, made in Italy. As per the original owner, the chair is made of teak, but we think it is a hard birch wood.

The slim, highly contoured frame creates a wonderful low-slung organic form.

We stripped, sanded, and refinished the frame with Danish oil, and the chair is like new. The orange wool mohairs cushions are in great condition and wonderfully luxurious.

Back Height: 31 in. x Width: 28 in (seat 21.5in) x Depth: 31 in x Seat Height: 14 -17 in. The arm supports are at H 20" (in the middle).
