REFINISHED Danish Mid Century Modern Teak Coffee Table by J.Andersen 62.5"

We are offering this large, vintage Mid-Century Modern “half-moon” or "demilune" teak coffee table, crafted by Johannes Andersen and manufactured by Silkeborg Møbelfabrik in Denmark in the 1960s. The unique half-moon design lends a sculptural quality to the piece while preserving an airy feel. The softly rounded front edge provides a striking contrast to the straight back, and the elegantly tapered legs provide solid support to the top, smoothly joined to the apron for a flowing, unified appearance. The woodworking is exact and understated, showcasing the high manufacturing standards of Silkeborg and Andersen's dedication to clean designs and balanced aesthetics.

We stripped, sanded, and refinished the table with Danish oil to like new condition.

L 62.5" x D 30" x H 19.5". It is a rather large table, and a bit higher than most.
