Beautiful Danish Mid Century Modern extendable teak dining table designed by Skovmand & Andersen, made in the 1960s. It has been stripped, sanded and refinished with Danish oil to perfection, not a scratch remaining.
The beauty of this piece is its teak craftsmanship and streamlined functionality. At its smallest round shape of 47-inch diameter, it slips easily into a corner eating nook. As a fully extended oval with 3 leaves at 105.5 inches by 47 inches, it becomes a dining room centerpiece for friends and family gatherings.
The not extended table is round D 47"x H 28.5". There are 3 leaves, each 19.5". With the leaves the table is oval. One leaf - L 66.5" x 47" x H 28.5", 2 leaves - L 86", 3 leaves - L 105.5"
After Danish oil, we applied Osmo Polyx®-Oil – Hardwax-Oil wood finish based on natural vegetable oils and waxes, which is durable and hardwearing and resistant to water, dirt, and common household spills. More info at the link below:
