Up for sale is a stunning vintage Danish Mid-Century Modern teak bedroom ensemble. This queen-size bed and dresser, featuring 9 drawers, was crafted by Komfort in Denmark. This piece will capture the attention of those who appreciate exceptional quality, rare finds, and distinctive designs. This model boasts a metal frame with attached teak panels that conceal the metal legs, resulting in a "floating" bed aesthetic, which is also strong and sturdy. The nightstands, with their curved tops, enhance the seamless appearance when joined to the headboard. Each nightstand offers three drawers and open shelving.
The bed and dresser have been stripped, sanded, and refinished to great like-new condition (minimal blemishes: see one drawer) they are in excellent structural condition as well, sturdy, strong, and well-built. Please check photos and videos.
The dresser with deep drawers is 6 ft x D 18.75" x H 29.75". The drawers are 6" deep.
The bed fits a standard queen-size mattress 60" x 80". Bed dimensions: Headboard W 110.5" (63.5" + 2 x 23.5") x H 26.25". The bed is 83" long (including headboard & foot-board). Mattress would be placed at 11.25" height.
All hardware is included; you only need a mattress (no mattress box required). THE BED HAS BEEN DISASSEMBLED FOR TRANSPORTATION. Might be able to help with assembly in Toronto.

How it works.
We source authentic mid-century pieces, check and fix any structural problems, strip with chemical stripper, sand with different grades, oil with Danish oil 5 times or more, waiting to dry and sanding each time. On average, it takes 10-14 days to finish the piece, but some might take even longer. Every piece undergoes rigorous quality checks before reaching your home. If reupholstery is required, it is done by one of a few professional upholsterers we work with.

Yes. We provide detailed measurements, high-resolution photos & videos, and honest condition reports to ensure there are no surprises when your piece arrives. Do not hesitate to ask any questions prior to the purchase.
If the furniture is not what you expected, you can return it within 48 hours of purchase. If we are at fault, we will make it right. You will be refunded the cost of the piece less delivery cost and credit card fee of 4% (Shopify does not refund transaction fees if order is cancelled or refunded). Customized furniture is not returnable. The customer will be responsible for the returning the piece or cost of returning. The furniture is to be the same condition as it left our shop. If significant effort & time were required to prepare the shipment, a refund of up to 40% can be withheld to compensate.
Unlike quick-fix shops, we dismantle every loose joint and re-bond them with modern adhesives. This ensures a decade of structural stability.
We use period-correct donor wood to fix damaged veneer. These seamless repairs maintain the original grain flow for an invisible finish.
