REFINISHED Danish MCM Rosewood Table by Sven Ellekaer for Heltborg 64"-103" oval w 2 leaves

For sale, we have a stunning rare vintage Danish Mid Century Modern rosewood dining table by Sven Ellekaer, made in Denmark by Heltborg Mobler, circa the 1960s.

The oval top has gorgeous grain patterns and colour tones, with a beautifully cross banded edge. It stands on wonderful bentwood legs, a hallmark of Sven Ellekaer designs, which makes this table different from other rosewood tables. 

It has been completely stripped, sanded, and refinished with Danish oil to a magazine-worthy new look with nothing really to point out.

Approximate dimensions: the table, extended with both leaves is 103” x 45” x H 28”. Not extended it is oval 64”x 45" x H 28", and would fit 6 chairs.  Leaves are 19.5” each. Extended, it would fit 10.

The table has been disassembled by taking the legs off for transportation.
