Mid Century Modern Ingmar Relling Westnofa Siesta Lounge Chair

For sale we have an original bentwood & leather Siesta lounge chair by Ingmar Relling made by Westnofa, Norway in the 1960s.

Siesta is a Scandinavian classic featuring frame made of stained plywood and strong canvas that supports comfortable buttoned wine color leather cushions. Beautiful workmanship details such as the leather stitching, the layers of wood visible on the sides, the leather buttons, and the lacing and eyelets are characteristic of this design. The chair is famous for its comfort.

The wooden frame has been cleaned and polished, leather conditioned, new inserts in the upholstered part. The chair is in great vintage condition, the leather has sighs of usage but no significant damages, holes, etc.
