Offered for sale is a rare, ultra-functional patented Model DC06B "Lotus" expanding dining table, masterfully crafted by Skovby Møbelfabrik IN 1988. This extraordinary piece showcases exquisite beech woodgrains and features an ingenious mechanical design; much like a ship's wheel, the base allows the integrated leaves to unfold seamlessly, mimicking the blooming of a lotus flower. While the table begins as a classic round silhouette, its geometric metamorphosis reveals a stunning triangular top when fully expanded, highlighted by a striking black-painted center inlay.
