For sale, we have this rare Danish Mid Century Modern rosewood and black leather side chair, model Modus, designed by Kristian Solmer Vedel and made by Soren Willadsen Møbelfabrik in the 60s.
Only one chair is available. Solid rosewood frame with unique leather backrest and cushioned seat.
The frame has been cleaned and polished and is in great shape. The original leather upholstery is in great vintage condition as well, cleaned and conditioned with minimal signs of use.
Width 18" x Depth 20" x Back Height 34" x Seat Height 18".
Kristian Solmer Vedel (1923-2003) was a Danish designer, best known for his work in the 1950s and 1960s. He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, and studied sculpture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
