REFINISHED Mid Century Modern R.Huber Teak Scoop Sofa XL

For sale, we have an iconic Mid Century Modern sofa, mostly known as Scoop. This 4-seater is the largest Scoop sofa. It was designed by a Danish designer and manufactured by R. Huber & Co. Circa 1960s.  The sofa is super comfortable. It has a beautiful solid teak frame in which it "floats".

This sofa was well taken care of; the upholstery has been steam-cleaned and shows only minimal wear, and the missing buttons have been expertly reattached. There are some fabric repair signs at the bottom by the original owner, but they are only visible if you lie down on the floor (see close up photos). The teak wood frame has been completely stripped, sanded, and refinished with Danish oil.

The sofa is 87" long x 33" deep x 26 h back x 14 high seat.
