A pair of Mid Century Modern "Gruvwood" Table Lamps with Original Shades

For sale we have a set of 2 vintage Mid Century Modern walnut table lamps created for a line called Gruvwood made for the 1964 World's Fair to be used in "The House of Good Taste". Some sources attribute design to Hans Wegner .

Columnar base is all walnut with vertical or horizontal wooden strips cut at an angle with original basket-weave wicker shade which is intact with no rips or tears. Wood parts have been cleaned and polished and look like new as well.

3 way switch. Dimensions: 19" to top of socket, 35" to top of shade. Base-6.5" diameter
