6 REFINISHED Danish MCM Teak Shield Back Chairs by Arne Hovmand-Olsen

Gorgeous set of 6 Danish Mid Century Modern teak dining chairs designed by Arne Hovmand-Olsen in the 1960s. Made of the best quality solid teak wood with signature details like wooden shield backs, floating on brass balls, and with the handles that allow for the gentleman to pull-out the chair for the guests.

Original owner have got their teak frames sanded, cleaned and oiled with Danish oil and are like new again with just a few minimal blemishes that can be seen on very close inspection.

The chairs have also been reupholstered in lovely grey velvet some time ago, and we steam cleaned them for the new home. A few small spots can be seen on close inspection. We can help to reupholster if upholstery does not work with your decor. Labour cost would be $80 per chair.

These chairs are rather compact: W 18.5 in. x D 21 in. x BH 33.75 in.x SH 18.5 in.
