For sale, we have this beautiful set of 4 Danish Mid Century Modern teak dining chairs by Erik Buch, model OD-49 for O.D. Møbler, circa 1960s. The sculptural solid teak frames are beautifully crafted and designed, featuring Buch's trademark "floating" seats, and deeply curved backrests that allow for extra comfort and support.
The frames have been refinished and reglued, and they look almost like new. We also got the chairs professionally reupholstered in gorgeous dark green wool mohair fabric. Please note, that 3 seats are slightly different from the fourth.
Approximate dimensions: Width 19" x Depth 19.5" x Height 31" x Seat Height 18".
Mohair upholstery is a very plush, durable, and resilient velvet-type upholstery fabric that is shorn from Angora goats. It is easy to clean, resistant to moisture-wicking, stretching, and creasing, and inherently flame resistant. It is also expensive, with prices from $200 to $600 per yard and more.
