For sale, we have a set of 4 rare Danish Mid Century Modern teak armchairs designed by Danish architect Johannes Andersen for Brodrene Andersen, Vejen, 1960s, model BA113.

The streamlined elegance of form and function make these sculpted chairs a brilliant example of Mid-Century design. The chairs have solid teak frames with sweeping lines, elegant joinery, and very comfortable upholstered curved seats and backs with ‘Bullhorn’ elbow rests.

Their teak frames have been stripped, sanded, re-glued, and refinished to almost perfect new condition (some repair signs might be seen on close inspection). We will also get them professionally reupholstered just for you. Please bring the fabric or choose from ours. Labor and new foam are included in the cost.

Approximate dimensions: seat height 17”x back height 29” x width 20”(17" just seat) x depth 21.5”. The armrests are at 27" from the ground.

Please note, these chairs are a bit lower (SH 17") than most of MCM chairs (SH 18").
