This stunning set of vintage Mid Century Modern chairs feature sculpted frames, and unique curved back supports; teak grain different on each chair. The minimal design is so striking and gorgeous.
The chairs have been meticulously stripped, sanded and refinished with multiple layers of Danish oil and reupholstered in beautiful and durable and soft light grey wool mohair for the organic, flower like look; foam is new as well.
Approximate dimensions W 18.75" x D 17.5" x SH 18.75" x BH 31". These are rather compact chairs and would work great in smaller spaces as well.
Mohair upholstery is a very plush, durable and resilient velvet type upholstery fabric that is shorn from Angora goats. It can be dyed in rich and beautiful colors and is resistant to moisture wicking, stretching and creasing and is inherently flame resistant. It is also expensive, with prices from $200 to $600 per yard and more.
