2 vintage Mid Century Modern Wassily chairs by Marcel Breuer for Knoll in brown leather

For sale, we have this wonderful pair of vintage Mid-Century Modern Wassily chairs by Marcel Breuer in brown leather and bent tubular chromed steel. These are vintage from the early 70s, but we can not confirm if these were made by Knoll, Gavina, or other licensed companies. They are the best lounge chairs for small modern spaces, and they are really comfortable.

The chairs are in amazing condition for their age. Chrome is very clean, with minimal pitting. The leather and stitching are in great shape as well; these chairs were well-kept and cared for. Please check the photos for the details.

31" wide x 28.75" deep x 28.75" tall. Seat height 16.5", arm height 23".

One of the most unique yet recognizable chair designs ever, it was inspired by the frame of a bicycle and influenced by the constructivist theories of the De Stjil movement. This is one of Marcel Breuer's earliest designs, forever changing expectations over what the lines of a chair should be in order to be comfortable.
