A pair of Danish Mid Century Modern Teak Dining Chairs by TH Harlev for Farstrup Stolefabrik.
These exceptional beautifully streamlined vintage chairs feature gleaming dark African teak frames, deeply curved back supports, and uniquely formed armrests. The distinctly minimalist design of the frames is highlighted by full grain yellow leather that we have chosen for the upholstery.
The frames have been stripped, sanded and covered with multiple layers of Danish oil, joints tightened. They are basically new again.
These chairs are strong and sturdy and rather small: seat height 18.5”x back height 29” x width 19.5”x depth 19”.
These chairs sell for $600 each in vintage condition and old upholstery; online they go for $1000 and more.
Made in Denmark in the early 1960s.
